Google Android is not just for phones.

The good news for Java developers is that Android Operating System may show up in a dozen of the phones next year as well as in some other mobile devices like tablet PC.

It might be the beginning of the new era of the Java-written client applications.

My interests in Android does not come from the fact that it is better than iPhone, or Crackberry, because it is not, but because all applications in Android are written in Java and of them can be replaced with better working versions.

I believe Android will be everywhere, on all mobile devices; phones, tablets, cameras and anything else digital. Android after all a solid and very stable Linux based operating system and just like Mac OS (UNIX) and it can run on any client device as well on servers if it had to.
